Basic responsibilities (remember that we work with people so each assignment is different):
· Homemaker personal care duties being light cleaning of the home, cooking, laundry, shopping etc.
· Personal hygiene assistance such as brushing teeth, bathing, toileting, etc.
· Daily documentation of the activities and any behavior management required
· Providing companionship
· Teaching skills to promote independence
· Community inclusion by providing transportation to activities
· Responsibilities are subject to the needs of the individual
Requirements:
· Clean background check that allows you to work with individuals with developmental disabilities
· Valid Ohio driver’s license with 6 points or less
· Valid automobile insurance
· High School diploma or equivalent
· CPR/FA (willing to certify the right applicants)
· Medication administration (willing to certify the right applicant)
· The ability to work flexible schedules
· Willing to use your reliable personal transportation
· Clear and concise verbal and written skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 per hour
