DriveWhip is a mobility provider in the Washington, DC area, with offices in multiple cities, that Leases/Rents vehicles to Uber, Lyft and other On-Demand or Rideshare drivers. As a ground floor member of an exciting new company all associates will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities. An appreciation for the pros and cons of start up culture is a must.

Do you love building strong teams, streamlining operations, and keeping things running smoother than a freshly tuned engine? Whip is looking for a Store Manager with solid operations experience to lead daily activities, boost performance, and deliver an unforgettable customer experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to the following):
- Oversee daily store operations from front desk service to vehicle hand-offs, keeping everything moving efficiently and on schedule.
- Hire, train, and mentor a high-performing team. Build a positive, driven culture that celebrates wins and tackles challenges together.
- Track KPIs, set ambitious goals, and continuously refine processes to hit (and exceed) targets.
- Make every customer’s day with stellar service, quick resolutions, and genuine care.
- Partner with fleet, service, and logistics teams to keep vehicles available, clean, and road-ready.
- Maintain company standards, policies, and safety protocols—because smooth operations start with doing things right.
- Spot opportunities for improvement and bring fresh ideas to keep the store running better every day.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Operations, or a related field preferred, but not required (equivalent experience also considered).
- 3 years of store or operations management experience (retail, rental, or automotive industry a plus).
- Proven track record of leading teams, meeting performance goals, and improving operational efficiency.
- Experience with inventory, logistics, or fleet management systems is a strong bonus.
- Strong leadership and people-development abilities.
- Data-driven decision-making and KPI management.
- Excellent conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with CRM, or scheduling systems.
- Ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

- Proven experience managing store operations in retail, rental, rideshare, automotive, or similar fast-moving industries.
- Strong leadership skills – you know how to motivate, delegate, and hold your team accountable.

- Flexible availability – open to weekends, evenings, and holidays when needed.
Work Environment:
Typical work environment includes desktop computing work using typical desktop computing equipment (laptop, keyboard, mouse, monitors, desk, chair) in an office environment and/or remote workspace environment.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to sit and use typical desktop computing workspace equipment - e.g. mouse, keyboard, monitor, phone - for extended periods of time.
- Manual dexterity to operate a typical desktop computing workstation.
- Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, using virtual meeting and communication tools such as email, Google Meet, and Slack.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds, if required.
