Duties

• Engage with customers to identify their hydraulic parts needs, offering detailed product recommendations based on their applications.
• Manage inventory levels by accurately stocking, organizing, and replenishing hydraulic components to meet customer demand.
• Process sales transactions efficiently using POS (Point of Sale) systems.
• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of hydraulic products, including PTO's, pumps, cylinders, fittings, hoses and related accessories to provide informed assistance.
• Collaborate with the warehouse team to fulfill orders promptly and accurately, ensuring timely delivery to customers.
• Utilize inventory management software to track stock levels and prevent shortages.
• Assist customers with vehicle maintenance or repair questions related to hydraulic systems and provide guidance on automotive diagnostics when applicable.
• Support marketing initiatives by promoting new products or special offers through effective communication channels.
• Ensure a clean and organized sales floor by stocking shelves properly and maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
• Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to foster positive relationships.
• Participate in periodic inventory audits and control procedures to minimize loss and optimize stock accuracy.
• Contribute to a team environment by sharing product knowledge and supporting colleagues in achieving sales goals.

Skills

• An understanding of automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance related to hydraulic systems is highly desirable.
• Excellent negotiation skills to close sales effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Bilingual abilities are preferred to serve a diverse customer base effectively.
• Exceptional customer service skills combined with clear communication skills enhance the shopping experience for clients.
• Knowledge of automotive repair processes and automotive service standards helps provide accurate advice on product applications.
• Organizational skills are vital for stocking, merchandising, and maintaining an orderly sales environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
