A professional driving instructor delivers curriculum to drivers in a professional manner. DriveTeam instructors help drivers understand the rules and laws of the road, the vehicles they are driving, develop and improve their driving skills and enhance their decision-making behind the wheel. Our instructors play a key role in developing confident and independent drivers.

DriveTeam provides the most advanced vehicle dynamic driver training possible. Each instructor is accredited and licensed by the State of Ohio as well as experienced in specific driving skills. We offer a different curriculum and skill set for each of our training divisions.

Qualifications:
- Applicants must be over the age of 25
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for the past 5 years (less than 4 pts.)
- Applicants must be able to pass motor vehicle and criminal background checks
- Strong communication and instructional skills
- Teaching, coaching, law enforcement, emergency service or military experience preferred, but not required
- A Commercial Driver License is preferred, but not required
- Basic Instructor Course (8 hours)
- Classroom Training (32 hours)
- Behind-the-wheel Training (16 hours)
- Instructor Assessments (4 hours)
