Position Overview
NAPA Auto Parts is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Dispatcher / Parts Puller to support daily delivery operations and warehouse efficiency. This is a hybrid role combining dispatch coordination, order fulfillment, and delivery staging to ensure our customers receive accurate parts quickly and consistently.

Key Responsibilities Dispatch Operations
- Coordinate and dispatch delivery drivers efficiently to meet tight delivery timelines
- Monitor driver progress using proprietary driver management and GPS tracking systems
- Adjust routes and assignments in real-time to handle delays, call-outs, or urgent orders
- Communicate clearly with drivers, store staff, and management to ensure seamless operations
Parts Pulling & Order Fulfillment
- Accurately pull parts based on customer orders and invoices
- Verify parts for accuracy and quality before staging
- Maintain organization of inventory and ensure proper storage procedures
Order Staging & Logistics
- Stage completed orders in an organized manner for quick driver pickup
- Prioritize orders based on delivery urgency and route optimization
- Ensure all orders are properly labeled and ready for dispatch
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to think ahead and anticipate operational needs
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions
- Comfortable working with GPS tracking and dispatch software systems
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Basic computer skills (order systems, dispatch platforms, email, etc.)
- Knowledge of automotive parts is a plus (but not required)
Preferred Experience
- Prior dispatch, logistics, or route coordination experience
- Warehouse or inventory management experience
- Experience in automotive parts or supply chain environments
- Familiarity with delivery operations and driver coordination
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse/store for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a warehouse/retail environment
