What are the responsibilities and job description for the Skilled Laborer position at Driver Pipeline Company Inc.?
Job Summary:
The Skilled Laborer positions is responsible for assisting and operating equipment to support the maintenance, construction, installation, and servicing of the distribution pipelines.
Essential Functions:
- Adhere to company policies.
- Work with crews to install gas line/services in the Midland/Odessa area only.
- Physical demanding to include stooping, kneeling, crouching, lifting; carrying; holding tools or materials, etc.
- Load and unload trucks, cleanup of jobsite, use hands tools and power tools to install and repair pipelines.
- Compacting, lifting, hand shoveling; digging; raking; sweeping, pickaxe, digging bar, and assists skilled tradesmen in their job performance; any special projects.
Job Qualifications:
- Skilled Laborer – 6 months experience
- Must safely operate equipment around overhead and underground utilities, without direct supervision.
- Must Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screening.
Work Environment:
- Must be able to wear required PPE as assigned by Safety Department.
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment.
- Work extended hours if needed.
- Ability to work in extreme outdoor weather.
- No Per Diem
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
