2nd Shift Production Supervisor

FULL TIME - 2nd shift hours of 1:30pm to 10:00pm (Monday through Friday)

**Bilingual is a requirement. You must be able to communicate verbally, read, and write efficiently in English and Spanish fluently .**

2nd shift supervisor will oversee all activities in relations to the manufacturing, and assembly process of the products built in the Henderson warehouse. This person will monitor the efficiency of the department, improve operating processes, including training, quality of product, safety, and inventory control, while ensuring all companies policies and procedures are being followed. The 2nd shift supervisor will work directly with the Production Team, Logistics & Inventory Control Specialists, and other team members in the manufacturing process. This person will report to the Production Supervisor.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY:

• Manage the workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
• Guide and coach employees٫ monitoring their productivity
• Spend 85% of time assisting the production lines to help meet daily expectations
• Oversee safe use of equipment
• Repair equipment as needed
• Keep equipment in good working condition
• Perform verification of production output according to specifications
• Prepare reports on performance and progress and present them to senior managers
• Detect issues in efficiency and suggest improvements
• Consult new employees on how to safely use machinery and follow procedures
• Ensure strict adherence to safety guidelines and company standards
• Lead Lean manufacturing principles

2nd SHIFT SUPERVISOR REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong project management, administrative management, and organizational skills

• Manufacturing experience a must
• Lean Manufacturing process a PLUS
• Basic Mechanical knowledge
• BILINGUAL in spanish is required
