Title: Full-time Furniture Delivery Driver

Summary of Position

Delivers and assembles furniture residential and retail locations, both locally and regionally.

Primary Responsibilities

• Drives a large commercial vehicle (20 & 26 ft box trucks and pick-up trucks w/ trailer) for furniture delivery
• Assembles furniture which requires basic knowledge of tools and some experience preferred
• Load and unload delivery trucks with furniture & appliance dollies

Requirements

Basic requirements:

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to use a mobile phone with driving log apps
• Must have a valid driver’s license and remain insurable by the company’s vehicle insurance
• Must have a clean driving record
• Must provide your own tools (will receive a bi-weekly tool stipend)
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
• Must be very detail-oriented
• Must be able pass a drug/alcohol screen (which will detect THC marijuana)
• Experience in Logistics, picking up, handling, transporting and delivering freight is strongly preferred but, not required

Schedule:

• Variable schedule, usually 6:00am-6:00 PM, 4 days/week
• Must be available to work Saturdays
• Must be available to work on a rotating schedule Monday-Saturday
• Earlier starting or ending times can be required to finish the required route
