Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mixology and excellent customer service skills. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring that guests have an exceptional experience. You will play a vital role in maintaining the bar's cleanliness and organization while adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Engage with customers to take drink orders, provide recommendations, and ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces.
- Operate cash registers and Aloha POS systems for processing payments accurately.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Comply with food handling regulations and ensure responsible service of alcohol.
- Assist in organizing special events or banquets as required.
- Stay updated on drink trends, menu changes, and promotions.
Skills
- Proficiency in using Aloha POS systems or similar cash register systems.
- Strong basic math skills for handling transactions accurately.
- Knowledge of food handling practices within the food industry.
- Experience in brewing beverages is a plus.
- Excellent sales skills to promote menu items effectively.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous experience in fine dining establishments is preferred but not required.
- Strong interpersonal skills to create positive interactions with guests.
