We’re looking for a Developmental Writer / Editor to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who loves writing, big picture thinking and strategizing about how to make content effective for lead generation. You’ll draft and refine content for clients across various industries - healthcare, SaaS, and real estate - while using AI tools and data-driven insights to create content that deserves to be number one on google.
Someone in this role should be obsessed with making every piece of content truly resonate with its intended reader. You’ll constantly put yourself in the shoes of the person on the other side of the screen and create content that answers the question behind their search in the most original, thorough, and satisfying way possible.

Key Responsibilities
- Write, edit, and optimize SEO content weekly — including blog posts, landing pages, case studies, and comparison articles.
- Ability to conduct Research and translate findings into impactful content
- Manage and update the editorial calendar, tracking content progress across multiple clients.
- Participate in weekly client calls to review content, discuss feedback, and plan next deliverables.
- Edit and refine content based on client input, ensuring accuracy, tone alignment, and strategic intent.
- Conduct light keyword research and map content to search intent and funnel stage.
- Keep internal workflows, call notes, and content trackers up to date to maintain alignment across projects.
- Utilize platforms like Ahrefs, SEMrush, and other AI tools to support keyword analysis, topic ideation, and content optimization.
- Collaborate directly with the founder and strategist to ensure deliverables meet client and SEO goals.
Requirements
Experience
- 1–3 years of experience in content writing, editing, or SEO-focused roles.
- Strong understanding of keyword research, search intent, and on-page SEO fundamentals.
- Prior agency experience or familiarity with First Page Sage-style SEO content is preferred
- Experience writing and completing research for multiple different industries is preferred

- Strategic and analytical mindset with a data-driven approach to content decision-making and the ability to translate complex market dynamics into actionable insights
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment while maintaining a commitment to meeting deadlines with accurate, relevant and timely analysis and insight
Compensation and Benefits
- The targeted salary for this position is $55,000 and $60,000/year; however, the salary offered will depend on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
