CNC Machine Operator
Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable CNC Machine Operator to run CNC mills and lathes in a production environment. This position focuses on operating machines, inspecting parts, and supporting daily shop operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate CNC mills and lathes according to work instructions
- Load and unload parts from machines
- Perform any required bench work during machine operation
- Perform basic quality checks using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Monitor tooling and report wear or issues
- Prepare finished parts for shipment
- Assist with general shop tasks as needed (material handling, cleanup, organization)
- Saw and de-burr raw material as needed
Qualifications:
- Prior CNC machine operation experience preferred (training considered for the right candidate)
- Ability to read basic work instructions and follow procedures
- Comfortable using basic measuring tools
- Good attention to detail and quality
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift parts as required
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
