About the Position
Driven Autobody Shop is looking for an Auto Body Technician to join our South Sioux City team. This is a hands-on collision repair position focused on restoring damaged vehicles to safe, pre-accident condition while following vehicle manufacturer procedures and established repair standards.
What You'll Do
- Disassemble vehicles as needed to help identify and document collision damage and develop a complete repair plan
- Complete collision repairs according to the repair plan, manufacturer procedures, and applicable industry standards
- Inspect incoming parts against the repair plan and help ensure the correct parts are available before and during repairs
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, cutting equipment, sanders, spray equipment, and other shop tools as required
- Communicate with management regarding repair issues, changes in repair needs, or conditions that may affect repair quality or completion time
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, including proper care and storage of tools, equipment, parts, and materials
- Follow all shop safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment
- Assist with general shop responsibilities when needed, including vehicle washing and shop cleanup
- Perform other duties related to collision repair as assigned

- Collision repair experience is preferred, but experience is not required for the right candidate
- Ability to learn and follow vehicle manufacturer repair procedures
