Position Summary
The Service Advisor is the face of Driven Auto Repair and plays a key role in building trust with customers. In this role, you’ll communicate with customers about their vehicle needs, coordinate with technicians, and ensure every service visit is smooth, transparent, and positive.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming, professional environment.
- Listen to customer concerns and clearly document repair and service needs.
- Communicate recommended services, repair timelines, and cost estimates with honesty and clarity.
- Work closely with technicians to understand diagnostics and relay information to customers.
- Schedule appointments and manage the daily workflow of the shop.
- Keep customers updated throughout the repair process.
- Prepare invoices, process payments, and ensure accurate records.
- Maintain strong knowledge of automotive services and shop offerings.
- Uphold Driven Auto Repair’s values of integrity, transparency, and exceptional customer care.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Service Advisor or in a customer-facing automotive role preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to build trust and maintain positive relationships with customers.
- Basic automotive knowledge and willingness to learn more.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with shop management software is a plus (training available).
