Job Title:  Solutions Consultant (SC)

Locations:  St Louis, MO / Hybrid

The Opportunity:  We are seeking a dynamic Solutions Consultant (SC) to be the technical layer between the sales team and our clients.  You won’t be just showing off our best-in-class products, you will be showing Automotive Retail General Managers and Dealer Principals how to elevate their operations.

You will partner with our commercial organization to lead deep diver discovery meetings, conduct custom tailored demos, answer technical questions internally and externally, and ultimately help grow sales and retention.

What You’ll Do:
  • Technical Discovery and Requirement Gathering: Work with dealership groups to understand their current tech infrastructure, pain points, business requirements and desired outcomes.  
  • Custom Demos: SCs must deliver a custom software demo to directly address the dealership’s pain point and use cases, showcasing DriveCentric’s view of the future of automotive retail.  You must be able to pivot between showing a CTO our API architecture to showing a general manager the business impact of the outcomes.
  • Solutions Architecture: Design custom integrations between our products and the existing IT infrastructures, while being able to consult on items and process they can eliminate or consolidate through our solutions.
  • Technical Authority: Act in a role as our product expert and ability to answer in depth questions to build credibility and trust.
  • Outcomes Based Advisor: Ability to help customers envision outcomes and create tangible ROI through greater engagement, sales, and efficiency.
  • Feedback Loop:  Serve as the “voice of the customer: to our product team and provide insights from the field which will help influence our roadmap and capabilities.

What You’ll Need to Bring:
  • Experience: 5 years in a technical, customer-facing role.  Examples would be Solutions Consultant, Solutions Engineer, Pre Sales Solutions Architect.  Retail automotive experience is highly desired.
  • Domain Knowledge: Understanding of dealer systems in Digital Retail, CDP, Chat, F&I Menu, Service and scheduling, Agentic AI, and reporting.
  • Technical Literacy: Familiarity with AI concepts, API integrations, Data Visualization tools, and workflow mapping is highly desired.
  • Communication: Strong and persuasive communication skills to influence decision makers between our solutions and their business goals.  Ability to simplify complex concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem Solving:  Thrive in thinking “how do we make this work?” and ability to find creative workarounds for complex technical objections.
  • Presentation Skills: Ability to hold a room’s attention, whether it’s in a corporate boardroom or over a zoom meeting with a audience of both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel is required
