Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Set up banquet rooms and event spaces according to event orders and standards.
- Provide courteous, professional food and beverage service during weddings, banquets, meetings, and special events.
- Serve plated meals, buffets, and beverages accurately and efficiently.
- Anticipate guest needs and ensure overall satisfaction.
- Maintain clean, organized service areas throughout events.
- Break down event setups and return equipment and supplies to proper storage.
- Follow all sanitation, hygiene, and safety protocols.
- Work closely with banquet captains, kitchen staff, and fellow servers.
- Maintain a polished, professional appearance.
Qualifications
- Banquet, catering, or fine-dining experience preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to stand/walk for long periods and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Flexible availability: nights, weekends, and holidays.
Working Conditions
