We are looking for an IT Manager to oversee daily information technology operations and ensure the integration and reliability of the company's technology environment, including in-house operations and CMMC-specific support requirements.
This role reports to the Global IT Head and works closely with IT teams across the Americas and the UK. The focus is on supporting in-house applications, maintaining infrastructure, strengthening cybersecurity, and improving system integrations.
In addition to managing IT operations and vendor relationships, the IT Manager will actively support internal applications, system integrations, database management, and initiatives that improve business workflows and operational efficiency. This position will involve multiple layers of the technology environment, including user interfaces, application logic, databases, and system integrations.
The IT Manager will also mentor and guide internal team members on automation and system integrations as the organization expands its technology capabilities. The ideal candidate is an experienced technology leader who combines IT management skills with strong technical knowledge in systems architecture, databases, automation, and application integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
IT Operations & Support
- Manage daily IT operations across several branch locations.
- Lead and support the IT team by prioritizing workloads, providing guidance on technical issues, and ensuring consistent user support across the Americas.
- Oversee system performance, uptime, and user support to ensure reliable technology services for internal teams.
- Coordinate help desk support with global IT teams, addressing issues across hardware, software, and network systems.
- Maintain documentation of systems, processes, and IT procedures.
- Mentor team members and provide technical guidance to strengthen database, reporting, and system integration skills.
- Manage asset allocation to associates.
Automation, DevOps & Process Improvement
- Support application deployment, version control, and system updates.
- Use tools such as Git, cloud platforms, or container technologies to support application environments.
- Identify ways to automate manual workflows and operational processes.
- Develop and maintain custom scripts to automate repetitive tasks and streamline workflows across platforms.
Database & Data Management
- Oversee database structures used for reporting, integrations, and internal applications.
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, stored procedures, and data validation processes.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across enterprise platforms.
- Collaborate with finance and operational teams to enhance reporting capabilities.
- Use data sets to build and improve business intelligence dashboards for real-time decision-making.
Cybersecurity - Risk Management
- Support cybersecurity efforts, including endpoint security, access controls, and data protection practices, while working closely with the Head of Cybersecurity Operations.
- Help monitor system vulnerabilities and coordinate responses to security risks.
- Assist in maintaining disaster recovery and business continuity procedures.
- Ensure compliance with internal security protocols and technology policies.
- Support compliance with internal data security and operational standards.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field; equivalent hands-on experience is also acceptable.
- 7 to 10 years of experience supporting IT systems, infrastructure, enterprise applications, or software environments.
- Experience supporting organizations with multiple locations or operational environments like industrial services, distribution, equipment, or manufacturing.
- Strong working knowledge of SQL and database design for reporting, integrations, and application support.
- Practical experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar environments.
- Familiarity with JavaScript, Python, or similar languages is a plus.
- A proven record of mentoring or guiding technical team members.
