Verantwortlichkeiten: ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITIONS: Support our customer – Press Shop Troubleshoot of production and non-production equipment Troubleshoot and program of Siemens S5 and S7 PLC’s, Beckhoff PC based controls and other PLC and control systems. Troubleshoot robot / robot controllers and perform teach-ins on new jobs as required Troubleshoot of servo drives and other drive controllers Repair and maintain press shop equipment Implement continuous improvements Perform daily checks and preventative maintenance POSITION REQUIREMENTS PHYSICAL DEMANDS: 80% Standing and walking 10 % Sitting 10% Stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, or balancing Work may be done near moving mechanical or hydraulic operated parts, or on occasion in precarious places, which may involve work in elevated locations, confined spaces and around fumes or airborne particles; there may be the risk of electrical shock and vibrations. PPE such as hearing protection, safety glasses and the adherence to the lockout tag out policy is mandatory Work at heights above 30 feet EDUCATION: Journeyman Electrician / Electronic degree from a recognized, accredited year college, or equivalent combination of education and experience or the completion of an electrical / electronic type apprenticeship program WORK EXPERIENCE / TECHNICAL TRAINING: Industrial Electrical / Electronic apprentice trade certificate.
