We are seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Pricing Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and managing pricing strategies with the goal of maximizing profitability and competitiveness in the market. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and the ability to turn market data into actionable insights.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain pricing strategies for each product line within your given product category.
- Conduct regular competitive pricing analyses to ensure offerings are market competitive.
- Identify opportunities to optimize pricing in response to competitor movements and customer demand.
- Utilize advanced Excel, data analysis tools, and internal software to analyze sales data, price elasticity, and margin impacts.
- Provide regular reports on pricing performance, trends, and potential areas for improvement.
- Work closely with product management, sales, and finance teams to align pricing strategies with product launches, promotional campaigns, and inventory management.
- Regularly assess and optimize pricing models, ensuring alignment with company goals and maximizing profitability.
- Recommend price adjustments based on cost changes, sales data, and market conditions.
- Continuously seek opportunities to enhance pricing tools, processes, and systems to improve efficiency, accuracy, and profitability.
Minimum Requirements:
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience:
- Experience with pricing analysis, financial modeling and forecasting
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
Skills:
- Proficiency in statistical and analytical software tools such as Excel, PowerBI, and PriceFX
- Strong understanding of market research techniques and data analysis
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest pricing best practices and industry trends
