The Role

We're looking for a Part-Time Esthetician who is warm with clients, detail-obsessed, polished, and excited to grow in medical aesthetics. This is not a basic facial role. You are a skincare educator, treatment provider, brand representative, and relationship builder for every client who trusts Drips Spa with their care.

The primary focus of this position is result-driven skincare, including customized facials, Hydrafacial treatments, dermaplaning, chemical peels, microneedling, skincare consultations, retail product recommendations, and support with advanced skin programs.

You'll help clients understand their skin, feel confident in their treatment plan, and receive a luxury-level experience from consultation through follow-up. The right person for this role values education, consistency, attention to detail, retail confidence, and long-term skin transformation.

Esthetician Responsibilities (What You'll Do)

• Perform customized facial treatments based on client concerns, skin type, treatment goals, and Drips Spa protocols
• Perform Hydrafacial treatments, dermaplaning, chemical peels, and other esthetic services based on training and competency
• Conduct skincare consultations and assist in developing personalized skincare and treatment plans
• Educate clients on homecare routines, product recommendations, treatment expectations, and long-term skin health
• Support advanced skin programs, including pigment correction, acne support, anti-aging, hydration, and maintenance plans
• Recommend retail skincare products confidently and professionally without being pushy
• Review intake forms, allergies, contraindications, medications, skin history, and client expectations before treatment
• Take and upload appropriate before-and-after photos according to Drips Spa protocol
• Provide thorough pre-care and post-care instructions for all esthetic treatments
• Document all treatments accurately and completely in the EMR system (Aesthetic Record)
• Maintain treatment rooms, supplies, product handling, equipment, sanitation, and infection-control standards
• Support the front desk and clinical team with room turnover, client flow, product knowledge, rebooking, and day-to-day operations as needed
• Represent Drips Spa's brand values in every single interaction — empowerment, expertise, and transformation

Esthetician Qualifications (Who You Are)

• You have an active Esthetician or Cosmetology license in New York State
• You have experience or strong interest in medical-grade skincare, corrective treatments, and result-driven skin services
• You genuinely enjoy educating clients and helping them feel confident about their skin
• You are comfortable recommending skincare products and treatment plans without being pushy
• You stay calm when it is busy, take ownership of problems, and maintain a positive client experience
• You are detail-oriented — missed contraindications, incomplete notes, messy rooms, and unclear post-care instructions are not things you let slip
• You have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can build rapport with clients quickly
• You are polished, professional, reliable, and excited to be part of a luxury aesthetic and wellness environment
• You are comfortable using computers, EMR systems, and contemporary software applications

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a medical spa, luxury spa, dermatology, aesthetics, or high-end service environment
• Experience with Hydrafacial, dermaplaning, chemical peels, corrective skincare, or medical-grade skincare lines
• Familiarity with Aesthetic Record or similar EMR/practice management software
• Comfort with client follow-up, rebooking, membership conversations, and treatment plan recommendations
• Strong interest in ongoing education, advanced skin treatments, retail sales, and long-term growth within Drips Spa
• Schedule & Compensation
• Part-time position; schedule may include weekdays, evenings, Fridays, and Saturdays based on clinic needs
• Saturday availability is strongly preferred
• Hours may vary based on patient demand, training, and clinic scheduling needs
• Competitive hourly rate of $22–$30/hr based on experience and qualifications, plus performance-based bonus and commission opportunities tied to retail sales, memberships, rebooking, and treatment plan growth.
