Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair
- Operate Toast POS systems to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Engage with customers warmly, providing friendly service and answering questions about menu items
- Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic retail math to ensure accurate transactions
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in food preparation areas and throughout the café
- Assist in food handling, food preparation, and serving snacks or light meals as needed
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without compromising quality
Looking for:
- Previous barista experience or strong coffee industry knowledge is great, not required
- Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and active listening abilities
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks involved in food service
- Experience in serving, food preparation, or retail environments is a plus
