What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling Coordinator position at Drip IV Therapy?
Drip IV Therapy is an on-demand mobile IV therapy service that offers vitamin-infused blends to optimize repair, recovery, and rehydration on the cellular level in the comfort of the patient’s home, hotel, or office.
Drip IV Therapy Mobile has quickly gained traction as a way for clients that want to live a healthy and balanced lifestyle to provide essential vitamins and nutrients to their bodies on a cellular level; bypassing the GI tract, and therefore delivering almost 100% of these essential nutrients and vitamins directly to where they are most needed.
The demand for IV therapy is rapidly increasing, and we are looking for an amazing Medical Scheduler/Medical Assistant to join our team!
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum Associated Degree
- Medical Assistant Certification, Certified Nurse Assistant, or completed 1st year of Nursing School
- HIPAA training
- 1 year experience working in a clinical setting triaging patients and familiar with front office duties
- Proficient in medical terminology

- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
Essential Duties:
- Answer phone calls efficiently and schedule appointments
- Input and update patient data in scheduling system
- Scheduling appointments appropriately based on RN service area
- Calculating approximate mileage travel for RNs
- Knowledgeable of all the IV therapy options that are available by Drip IV Therapy
- Conduct patient medical history triage over the phone
- Communicate with licensed provider any and all information regarding patient medical history that requires consultation prior to IV therapy
- Answer patient questions within scope of medical assistant
- Analyze RN staffing schedules and ensure there is sufficient coverage each day per service area
- Notify RNs regarding any discrepancies in their availability
- Attend monthly meetings to discuss scheduling, operations, staffing, and etc.
- Other duties as assigned
Work Schedule:
- Part Time (18-30 hours a week)
- Must work 4 weekend days a month
- Must be able to complete training in headquarters in Culver City, CA
- After training has been successfully completed in 2-3 weeks, work is remote.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18 – 30 per week
