Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Specialist – Hemp Beverage Industry
Location: Cleveland, OH
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $50,000–$60,000 per year
At Functional Distro Co., we’re at the forefront of innovation in the hemp beverage industry. We’re seeking a detail-oriented ERP Specialist to manage and optimize our Encompass ERP system. This role is critical to ensuring seamless supply chain operations, accurate reporting, and effective cross-departmental communication.
Encompass ERP System Administration
- Serve as the primary administrator of the Encompass ERP system, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security.
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Encompass ERP modules related to inventory, logistics, production, and sales.
- Develop and implement workflows in Encompass to support business processes and improve efficiency.
- Generate, analyze, and distribute ERP reports from Encompass to support data-driven decision-making across departments.
- Collaborate with Encompass support for updates, enhancements, integrations, and technical issue resolution.
Inventory & Supply Chain Management (via Encompass)
- Monitor inventory levels through Encompass to maintain optimal stock and prevent disruptions.
- Conduct system-driven audits and reconciliations within Encompass to ensure accuracy.
- Support procurement and warehouse teams with demand planning and forecasting tools built into Encompass.
Logistics & Operations Support (via Encompass)
- Use Encompass functionality to optimize routing, load planning, and distribution logistics.
- Track delivery and distribution KPIs directly in Encompass, providing insights to improve efficiency.
- Coordinate with third-party logistics providers and integrate them into Encompass workflows when possible.
Cross-Departmental Support & Training
- Act as the primary liaison between procurement, sales, operations, and finance to ensure seamless usage of Encompass ERP.
- Provide Encompass ERP training and support to end-users, ensuring proper adoption and best practices.
- Develop documentation, SOPs, and training materials to guide employees in effective use of Encompass.
Continuous Improvement & Reporting
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and increase automation within Encompass ERP.
- Partner with leadership to align Encompass reporting with KPIs and strategic business goals.
- Monitor compliance, Encompass system updates, and industry best practices to ensure ongoing optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- 5 years of experience working with Encompass ERP in supply chain, logistics, or operations management.
- Strong understanding of Encompass ERP modules and workflows across multiple business functions.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to train, support, and collaborate with technical and non-technical users.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
