Summary/Objective
The Social and Recreation Attendant will be responsible for set up, facilitation, education, and clean-up of recreational activities at Tributary, to include but not limited to rental gear – bikes, standup paddleboards, etc. - as well as lawn games, tennis courts and other social and recreational activities and events. This is an interactive position where the attendant will help lead the fun as members come to rent gear and play with the variety of recreational offerings.

Essential Functions
- Set up, stage, and check-out recreational equipment including but not limited to bikes, fly-rods stand up paddle boards, inflatable kayaks.
- Set up and facilitate lawn games, archery, tomahawks, tennis, disc golf, etc.
- Maintain assorted rental gear and equipment in safe and working conditions.
- Clean and organize storage areas.
- Be passionate and share information about Teton Valley, its adventures, and outdoor activities.
- Teach and instruct members and their guests on assorted recreational activities.
- Fill up ice bags and resupply water, snacks, and beverages.
- Maintain fleet vehicles, trailers, boats, and bikes
- Drive river and bike shuttles
- Adhere to all federal, regional, and local laws and guidelines.
Marginal Functions
- Become familiar with local adventure opportunities and area attractions.
- Promote recreational experiences both on and off property.
- Assist various departments and events as needed.

Work Environment
The position operates mostly outdoors around the club through all seasons and weather conditions. The employee may be exposed to hazards including, but not limited to, slipping, tripping, falls, cuts, sun exposure, and other injury-related hazards.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is may be a Full Time, Part-time, or On-Call, Non-Exempt Hourly, position. Days and hours of work are based on availability and need. Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and days and nights, with flexible hours. The schedule is subject to change, and applicants must be flexible with schedule adjustments.
Travel
There may be minimal travel within the valley and over to Jackson Hole required for local shuttling and other services.
Required Education and Experience
- Basic knowledge of and passion for outdoor activities.
- Valid Driver’s license
- Prior experience in a customer-centric, customer-facing position.
- Prior experience in or knowledge of the area or enthusiasm for learning!
Preferred Education and Experience
- Prior experience in Outfitting or Recreation position.
- First aid and CPR
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Must be able to speak fluent English.
- Must be able to represent themselves in a positive and professional manner that will promote the club features and activities.
Work Authorization
Must have valid work authorization to work in the United States for I-9 form purposes.
