Pay $ 15.00 Hourly
Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age
Reports to: Executive Housekeeper
Responsible for cleaning and maintaining the guest rooms areas according to company procedures and at a level that meets or exceeds company standards.
Responsibilities include:
- Report to Housekeeping Office at the beginning of shift, pick up and sign out key, and return key when reporting to office at end of shift.
- Clean and maintain all assigned rooms and suites daily, including bed stripping, bathroom cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, checking of room lights, air conditioner unit, television, spot cleaning, and stocking all room supplies.
- Report any items missing from rooms and suites.
- Report all items in need of repair to supervisor and maintain equipment used in work.
- Scrupulously follow all safety guidelines, i.e.: blocking open door with cart.
- Protect guest safety and well-being; follow all policies and procedures, i.e.: guest missing room key must get replacement at front desk with identification.
- Greet all guests with warm, friendly welcome; inquire about their well-being.
Personal Skills
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
- Ability to accurately report information.
- Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures; hold subordinates accountable for same.
- Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
- Consistently maintains positive demeanor.
- Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
- Conducts him\herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times.

Physical Requirements
- Minimum lifting and pulling of 20 pounds.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
- Hearing, writing.
- Being on your feet for an entire shift.
