As a Landshark Bar Back, you will be working in a fast paced environment, stocking the bar and keeping the area clean and organized.
Responsibilities Include
- Stocking bar with ice, liquor, beer, wine, juices, mixes glassware, utensils, cocktail napkins, garnishes, etc.
- Assist bartender in re-stocking and maintaining par levels of those items.
- Check taps and appliances to confirm they are working properly.
- General cleaning, wiping down surfaces, sweeping, mopping and emptying trash receptacles.
- Provide friendly, courteous service to guests and other staff members
- May be required to mix or pour drinks as needed, depending on individual ability.
- Must be able to take orders, prepare drinks, buss tables, open tabs, and process payments especially during peak hours.
- Other duties may be assigned.
Personal Skills
- Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.
- Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort policies and procedures.
- Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.
- Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.
- Consistently maintain positive demeanor.
- Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.
- Adheres to Driftwood and Margaritaville Lake Resort uniform, grooming and appearance standards.
- Conducts him\herself professionally at all times.
- Minimum lifting/pulling of 40 pounds.
- Being on feet for an entire shift, possibly 8 hours or more.
- Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.
