Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in food management and kitchen operations, with a strong focus on food safety and culinary excellence. As a Chef, you will be responsible for creating innovative dishes and ensuring the highest standards of food production in a fine dining environment. Driftless Ranch is a high-end hunting operation that attracts customers from around the globe. Part of the experience focuses on fine dining and camaraderie. Individual will work with different departments but have control of kitchen and dining. This position comes with flexibility in hours and pay. Boarding may be provided. Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to food safety standards.
  • Develop and design menus that reflect current culinary trends while maintaining quality and consistency.
  • Manage food preparation and production processes to ensure timely service and exceptional quality.
  • Maintain inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and minimize waste through effective kitchen management practices.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and safety standards in all aspects of food service.
  • Collaborate with front-of-house staff to create an exceptional dining experience for guests.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve kitchen processes to enhance efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

  • No experience required but preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food management practices, including menu planning, food preparation, and culinary techniques.
  • Excellent understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract, Temporary

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 80 per week
