Duties
- Deliver freshly prepared dishes from the kitchen to guests efficiently, maintaining food quality and presentation standards
- Clear and reset tables quickly to ensure a smooth flow of service during busy hours
- Assist servers by bussing tables, refilling water glasses, and providing additional support as needed
- Maintain cleanliness in the dining area, including wiping down tables, chairs, and surrounding surfaces
- Support food handling procedures by adhering to food safety guidelines and proper sanitation practices
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Help with basic food preparation tasks when necessary, supporting the culinary team in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices
- Strong communication skills to interact confidently with guests, team members, and management
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods during shifts
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in banquet service or hotel hospitality can be advantageous
- A positive attitude with excellent guest service skills and a team-oriented mindset
