What are the responsibilities and job description for the Property Manager (Parkway) position at Dreyfuss Management?
Dreyfuss Management is seeking Property Managers for a property located in Greenbelt, MD.
The Property Manager is responsible for conducting all business in accordance with Dreyfuss Management’s established policies and procedures, all Federal, State, County and Local Fair Housing Laws, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and all other laws pertaining to multifamily housing.
- Applicant must have at least three years of experience as a property manager.
- Provides leadership at the property and maintains an effective position of authority. Assures that the environment of the property reflects the philosophy of the company. Models Company Mission Statement.
- Oversee the overall financial and operational performance of the property.
- Yardi knowledge is a must.
- Market property and increase traffic.
- Review rent roll, aging accounts, compliance with budgeted line items, review of capital and improvement programs, and to identify risks and potential management issues.
- Coordinate collection of all revenues.
- Applicants must be thoroughly skilled in scheduling turnovers, pre-inspecting apartments and move-out inspections.
- Coordinate move-ins with the Leasing Staff and the Maintenance Department.
- Involved with the maintenance team and contractors providing services or repairs to the property.
- Applicants must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Must showcase emotional intelligence and exemplary customer service.
- The position will require meetings with residents and contractors to ensure all are aware of issues, and the timing of work and be able to communicate concerns between the residents and the contractors.
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with employees, owners, residents, contractors, etc.
- Supervise the filing of legal proceedings in accordance with city/county codes.
- Must have a reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- At least five years of property management experience is required
- Must have at least to years of Yardi experience.
- This position will report to the Regional Manager.
