Dreyer's DKI is seeking a full-time Reconstruction Project Manager to join our team at our Alachua, FL headquarters. This role oversees residential and commercial insurance restoration and reconstruction projects, helping property owners recover after water, fire, storm, and mold damage.
This position is ideal for a professional with experience in insurance restoration, construction project management, and Xactimate estimating who enjoys leading projects from start to finish while helping customers through difficult situations.

Position Overview
The Reconstruction Project Manager is responsible for managing insurance reconstruction projects from initial estimate through final completion.
Projects include water damage repairs, fire restoration reconstruction, mold remediation repairs, and storm damage reconstruction for both residential and commercial properties.
This role ensures projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and with high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage residential and commercial reconstruction projects related to water, fire, mold, and storm damage
- Use industry software such as Xactimate, Contractor Connection, PSA, and other restoration platforms
- Prepare detailed estimates, scopes of work, and project budgets
- Oversee job costing and project profitability
- Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and material procurement
- Create and manage project schedules
- Monitor project progress and address issues to keep work on track
- Ensure work meets insurance requirements and contract specifications
- Communicate regularly with customers, insurance adjusters, and internal teams
- Manage change orders and scope adjustments
- Control project costs and reduce waste
- Ensure all projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards
Qualifications
Required Experience
- Minimum 5 years experience in construction, reconstruction, or insurance restoration
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or project management role
- Experience managing insurance reconstruction projects
- Experience with Xactimate estimating software
Preferred Education
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or related field
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of water damage restoration, fire restoration, and mold remediation reconstruction
- Experience working with insurance carriers and third-party administrator programs
- Strong understanding of job costing, budgeting, and scheduling
- Experience managing subcontractors and vendor relationships
- Knowledge of residential and commercial construction practices
- Strong communication and leadership skills
