Overview
Dreyer Electric Company in Frohna, MO is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our team.
Duties
- Install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics and technical diagrams to guide installation and troubleshooting processes
- Diagnose electrical issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex electrical systems effectively
- Keep job sites safe and clean and adhere to all safety procedures
- Use power tools, hand tools and specialized equipment to complete installation, repair or renovation projects efficiently
- Load and unload material at job sites
Requirements
- Must have 5-10 years of experience as an electrician
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes
- Experience running commercial projects
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints and technical diagrams accurately
- Hands-on experience with electrical diagnostics, troubleshooting electrical systems and performing repairs
- Construction site experience with renovation projects or new installations
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments requiring attention to detail
- Demonstrated commitment to following electrical safety procedures to prevent accidents or hazards
- Ability to stand, kneel, bend, work with your hands, climb ladders and move 75 lbs. independently for extended periods of time
- Valid driver's license
