Opportunity:
Drexel is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic high school student to join our Door and Millwork Factory for a hands-on experience. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable insights into automated robotics manufacturing in a state-of-the-art facility and develop practical skills in manufacturing.
Responsibilities may include:
- Sweep, clean and maintain facility, and storage areas. Complete miscellaneous tasks as assigned
- General cleaning and maintenance of work areas including office, common areas and on the factory floor.
- Outdoor upkeep and maintenance around fulfillment center/factory.
- Undertaking specific projects as assigned by the Manufacturing team.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in high school.
- Must be at least 16 years old.
- Able to be on feet for extended periods of time .
- Able to reach and bend as needed.
- Not intimidated by hard work and getting dirty.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Keep a positive WINNING ATTITUDE on good AND challenging days
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to follow instructions, critically think.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain safe and organized workspaces
