Lawn Maintenance Crew Member

Drew’s Lawn & Landscape is hiring an experienced Lawn Maintenance Crew Member to join our mowing and maintenance team.

This is a full-time outdoor position working on residential and commercial properties. Most days will involve mowing, weed eating, edging, blowing, and completing scheduled routes with a crew.

We are looking for someone dependable who works at a steady pace, takes pride in their work, and can safely operate commercial lawn equipment.

Responsibilities

• Mow residential and commercial properties
• Weed eat around fences, beds, buildings, trees, and other obstacles
• Edge sidewalks, curbs, and driveways
• Blow off sidewalks, parking lots, patios, and other hard surfaces
• Operate commercial stand-on and zero-turn mowers
• Load and unload equipment
• Keep trucks, trailers, and equipment clean
• Help with shrub trimming, property cleanups, and other basic landscape work when needed
• Follow daily routes and job instructions
• Drive a company truck and trailer when needed
• Report property damage, equipment issues, or safety concerns immediately
• Work safely around customers, vehicles, buildings, and other crew members

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Clean criminal background
• Must pass a drug test
• Reliable transportation to and from work
• Able to lift at least 50 pounds
• Able to work outside in the Texas heat
• Available Monday through Friday between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
• Must be dependable and show up on time
• Professional mowing or lawn maintenance experience preferred
• Experience operating commercial mowers and driving a truck with a trailer preferred

Pay and Schedule

• Starting at $19 per hour for experienced applicants
• Around 40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday
• Overtime paid at 1.5 times the regular hourly rate
• Company shirts provided
• Hours may be slightly lower during the slower season, mainly from late January through February

We are looking for someone who wants steady work and is interested in growing into more responsibility over time.

Pay: $17.00 - $24.00 per hour
