Dress for Success Northwest Arkansas is seeking a bilingual, relationship-driven Career Coach & Navigator to support women as they move toward employment, financial stability, and long-term career growth.
This is a highly interactive, client-facing role that blends career coaching, workforce development, styling services, and resource navigation. The right candidate understands how to meet people where they are while helping them move forward with confidence.
The work is rooted in a trauma-informed, empowerment-based approach that supports clients in building skills, confidence, and access to opportunity.
- Provide one-on-one career coaching focused on job readiness, career pathways, and advancement
- Support clients with resumes, interview preparation, job search strategies, and workplace success
- Assist with navigating career transitions, certifications, and educational opportunities
- Help clients build confidence, communication skills, and professional presence
- Deliver personalized suiting and styling experiences for interviews, employment, court, and special events
- Create a welcoming, affirming environment that promotes dignity and confidence
- Support boutique operations including inventory, client flow, and overall experience
- Conduct client intakes and identify barriers to employment
- Provide ongoing follow-up and goal tracking to support client progress
- Connect clients to community resources such as education, childcare, transportation, and basic needs
- Track outcomes related to employment, wages, and education
- Build relationships with local employers, recruiters, and workforce partners
- Stay informed on hiring trends and opportunities across Northwest Arkansas
- Support job placement pathways and connections when possible
- Support and guide interns and volunteers in client-facing roles
- Assist with events, outreach, and organizational initiatives as needed
- Contribute to a strong, collaborative team culture
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred
- Background in Human Resources, Social Work, Nonprofit, Recruitment, Workforce Development, or related field
- Experience working in client-facing, people-centered roles
- Strong belief in empowerment-based, trauma-informed work
- Ability to build trust and rapport with diverse populations
- Excellent communication, organization, and follow-through
- Experience supporting individuals navigating barriers to employment
- Knowledge of workforce systems, hiring practices, or career pathways
- Comfort working in fast-paced, hands-on environments
- Passion for helping women achieve economic mobility and independence
