Responsibilities/Qualifications
Drees Homes, one of the largest privately-owned homebuilders in the nation, is seeking candidates for an Administrative Assistant position for our Raleigh Division. In this position you will perform various administrative tasks to facilitate the flow of timely and accurate information in coordination of the permitting and construction starts processes. In addition, you will coordinate the sales and closing processes for our Elevate Department.
Key Responsibilities
Facilitate the permitting process by gathering data and act as the liaison between the company and various municipalities and engineering offices
Providing complete start packages to the Builders
Accurate and efficient processing of paperwork and information to ensure timely construction starts
Updating data in various software programs
Maintain files relating to the permitting process
Maintain weekly status report; Preparation and distribution of various reports
Work closely with the Architecture Department to correct any plan errors and ensuring plan sets are complete
Process Sales Contracts and verify information is accurate and complete; follow-up on missing information and necessary corrections
Set up new customer file and enter and maintain any and all Drees systems/programs
Responsible for all aspects of the closing process
Create a final Homeowner file with all sales and construction documents and information
Assist with special projects assigned by the General Manager, Operations Manager and Division President
Knowledge And Skills
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook
Must be detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task with accuracy
Professional communication skills and the ability to work with a diverse group of people
Must be able to think and act independently
Requirements
1-2 years of relatable experience
1-2 years of permitting experience
Experience working with a homebuilder and/or the permitting process, preferred
High school diploma, college degree a plus
