Position Summary:
The Cook is responsible for preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks for children and staff in accordance with the center's menu and state licensing requirements. This position ensures the kitchen remains clean, safe, and in compliance with all food handling and sanitation regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve breakfast, lunch, and snacks according to the approved menu and dally schedule.
- Follow proper food safety, storage, and sanitation procedures at all times.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, including dishes, counters, appliances, and floors.
- Monitor and record tood temperatures as required by licensing standards.
- Take inventory and notify the director of needed food and supply orders.
- Accommodate special dietary needs or allergies as directed by management.
- Assist with meal setup and cleanup in classrooms as needed.
- Follow all health, safety, and emergency procedures.
Pay: $11.00 per hour
