What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Project Engineer position at DreamWorks Builders?
We are seeking a Construction Project Engineer to join our team! You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.
Responsibilities
- Assist Project Managers in all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
- Help allocate resources for assigned projects
- Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
- Create client contracts/subcontracts
- Create required subcontractor documents before work begins (COI, Contracts, W9, etc)
- Create and submit change orders
- Review and complete submittals, RFI's, meeting minutes
- File SCR
- Procore Management
- Collaborate with Project Manager to create and execute a schedule
Qualifications
- Previous experience in construction management or other related fields is required
- Familiarity with construction management software (Procore, excel, word, adobe) is a plus
- Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership qualities
