The ideal candidate will strive to continuously evolve and improve their performance in order to provide a Four Diamond Level of service for all guests each and every day.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect the bar prior to opening to ensure that adequate supplies are available.
- Requests additional supplies as necessary and stocks the bar.
- Follows set-up procedures.
- Prepares garnishes, mixes and pre-mixed drinks.
- Greets guests.
- Mixes, prepares and serves drinks to guests - mixes and prepares drinks ordered by food servers.
- Reports complaints to a manager as soon as they occur.
- Maintains and cleans bar area and equipment.
- Cleans and lock ups the bar area according to procedures.
- Attends staff meetings including pre-shift (line-up) sessions as required.
- Continually practices beverage and revenue control procedures.
- Provide attentive and exceptional service to each customer and develop client base.
- Completes other appropriate work assignments as requested by the manager.
Qualifications

- 2-3 years related experience and/or training
- TIPS and ServSafe Certified
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear and taste or smell. Frequent climbing, balancing, stopping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling may be necessary.
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Be flexible since this is a 24/7 hotel operation
- Regular and reliable attendance.
