Street Outreach Coordinator
Hourly, regular, non-exempt: 24-26 hours per week
General Expectations
- Provide service with integrity, respect, empathy, and confidentiality to youth and their families
- Create a safe and structured environment for all participants
- Engage as a member of a team of care to ensure safety, stability, and permanency using positive youth development and trauma-informed care
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School diploma/G.E.D
- Any combination of five years of education/training with the target population or five years relevant experience in a human services related field
- Experience in street outreach services preferred
Street Outreach Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Lead weekly team meetings with agenda
- Provide daily task supervision to volunteer members
- Plan, schedule, and implement schedules, routes, community coverage, and client follow ups
- Support Program Director in planning, implementing, and evaluating services
- Mgt of the contract and ensuring weekly, monthly compliance through planned activities beyond outreach
- Manage compliance with all funders requirements in grants and contracts
- Represent the agency in funder meetings
- Implement and expand harm reduction programming
- Training new team members in harm reduction and outreach practices
- Participate in regular continuous quality improvement process
- Maintain up to date information on local resources on all street outreach routes
- Upload and enter all HMIS and field data daily
- Track data for monthly reports
- Support outreach team in conducting VI-SPDAT interviews
- Maintain client files
- Keep inventory of all supplies
- Collaborate with community resources to help clients obtain shelter
- Check communications and respond when needed
- Communicate with Program Director when needing assistance or clarification
- Communicate facility and vehicle maintenance needs promptly
- Maintain facility security (e.g., lock and close all doors and windows when leaving)
- Maintain a clean driving record based on DreamTree Project insurance requirements
- Attend and complete all trainings as assigned
- Participate in on-call phone rotation
- Other duties as assigned
Additional Compensation:
- $100 = 30 Days after start date
- $100 = 60 Days after start date
Job Types: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
