Data Entry Clerk-Reports to the Finance Manager
Full-time, regular, non-exempt, 36 hours/week

Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree and at least 1 year of relevant work experience; or at least 5 years of relevant work experience
Data Entry Clerk's Responsibilities:
- Create and maintain file checklists incorporating requirements from all funders and regulatory agencies
- Compile and run reports for funders and agency use, including monthly, quarterly, semiannually, and annually
- Become licensed and authorized NM HMIS (New Mexico Homeless Management Information System) user and successfully completed HMIS training
- Be the agency's point of contact for NM HMIS (reporting, data cleanup and coordination efforts)
- Meet regularly with and provide training to staff to develop clear HMIS protocols, as well as universal and program specific protocols for data collection and data entry
- Routinely check the quality of HMIS data entry and staff procedures for entering data
- Monitor and enforce compliance with NM HMIS policies and procedures, and standards of client confidentiality and ethical data collection, entry, and retrieval at the agency level
- Run monthly reports on data quality and address any issues with quality and accuracy
- Participate in the creation of customized reports to report on specific outcomes for other private and public funders
- Fix any issues as a result of data quality emails from the database administrator
- Run weekly system reports and check their accuracy against the agency's real life housing situations
- Audit digital client files for all programs periodically
- Maintain and coordinating the board report monthly
- Maintain confidentiality of client information
- Serve as part of on-call rotation
- Attend agency meetings and trainings as needed
- Serve as backup for grant billing
- Other duties as assigned.
Additional Compensation:
- $100 = 30 Days after start date
- $100 = 60 Days after start date
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
