Key Responsibilities
- Greet and seat hotel guests and walk-in customers with warmth and professionalism.
- Present menus and inform guests of daily specials or promotions.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS system.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely and correct order delivery.
- Ensure guests receive prompt attention and courteous service throughout their dining experience.
- Respond to guest requests, dietary needs, and complaints with efficiency and grace.
- Clear, clean, and reset tables between guests according to hotel standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining and service areas.
- Assist with room service and banquet support as needed.
- Handle guest payments, provide accurate bills, and follow proper cash and credit procedures.
- Maintain thorough knowledge of the hotel’s amenities, services, and surrounding area to assist with guest inquiries.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a server in a hotel or upscale dining environment preferred.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant procedures.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
