Responsibilities
- Assist in demolition, framing, drywall installation, painting, flooring, tile laying, and finishing work to support renovation projects.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and scaffolding safely and efficiently on various construction sites.
- Perform carpentry tasks including trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, and framing to meet project standards.
- Conduct inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality expectations.
- Support construction management by assisting with site organization, material handling, fabrication, and adherence to project timelines.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction or remodeling environments with familiarity in blueprint reading and schematic interpretation.
- Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, concrete forming, welding, flooring installation, tile laying, and masonry techniques.
- Knowledge of construction management principles including estimating and inspection processes.
- Experience operating heavy equipment or scaffolding is a plus.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols on construction sites; ability to identify hazards proactively.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
- Excellent communication skills with an eye for detail; willingness to learn new skills such as Bluebeam software or advanced restoration techniques.
