- Base salary generally $50,000–$80,000, based on experience
- Uncapped commission tied to sales and design performance

- Develop initial concepts and realistic project direction
- Guide clients through design and material selections
- Present design retainers, proposals, and final contracts
- Collaborate with estimating, design support, purchasing, and production
- Maintain strong communication and follow-through throughout the process
- Experience in consultative sales, kitchen and bath design, remodeling, cabinetry, interior design, or a related field
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Confidence discussing budgets and helping clients make major decisions
- Strong design judgment and spatial reasoning
- Ability to manage multiple active client relationships
- Excellent organization and follow-through
- Comfortable use of computers, CRM systems, and design tools
- Ability to travel locally
