Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Food Safety Quality Assurance Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. Duties
- Conduct thorough quality inspections using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and vision inspection systems to verify product specifications and detect deviations.
- Perform regular quality audits across manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point), and FDA regulations.
Collect, analyze, and document data related to product quality, process performance, and compliance metrics to support quality management systems.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and review of quality control procedures
- Support root cause analysis investigations for quality issues, recommending corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Participate in internal and external quality audits, preparing documentation and facilitating continuous improvement efforts.
Physical requirements
- Ability to work in cold room for several hours a day.

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull, squat, turn body, and walk.
- Ability to talk and hear, must be able to hear electronic signals or timers.

Qualifications
- High school graduated or GED required.
- Proven experience in manufacturing environments with a focus on food safety or quality assurance roles.
- Strong analysis skills with proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and vision inspection systems.
- Knowledge of industry standards including HACCP, CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices), and FDA regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to perform accurate data collection and analysis.
- Effective communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
