What are the responsibilities and job description for the Delivery Driver/Shipping and Receiving position at Dreamers Furniture?
The job is part time right now 1 day a week usually on Saturday but could be more flexible if we find more routine help. The hours are Saturday 9-5 or 9-whenever we're done with deliveries. There's always things to do around the shop if deliveries don't fill the time
The Job involves but isn't limited to:
- Loading the truck from the warehouse
- Driving to and from locations in Delivery vehicle
- Delivering/unloading and setting up furniture in customers homes
- Taking payment from customers and delivering the check back to the store
- Receiving deliveries to the warehouse
- Moving and putting together furniture in the store
- etc
Must have/ be able to
- Lift upwards of 100lbs (anything over 50 is a team lift)
- Have A Current driver's license
- Drive a small box truck (No cdl or chaufer's required)
- Dress professionally (casual/ business casual)
- Talk with customers
Tattoos and piercings are fine as long as they're not offensive
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 per hour
