Role Description The Director of Programs and Community Impact is a volunteer, hybrid role based in Folsom, CA, with flexibility for some work from home. This role oversees the design, implementation, and evaluation of the DAIFS Foundation programs, including advocacy initiatives, educational workshops, career and financial literacy offerings, and emergency assistance services. The director collaborates with staff, volunteers, and community partners to identify community needs, develop responsive programming, and ensure equitable access to resources for Dreamers, DACA recipients, and immigrant families. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing program timelines and budgets, tracking outcomes, preparing reports for leadership and funders, and maintaining strong relationships with partner organizations, sponsors, and volunteers. The role also involves supporting outreach efforts, representing the DAIFS Foundation at community events and meetings, and contributing to strategic planning that advances long-term stability and community impact.
