Job Type: Part-time, Full-time, or "Until I quit on a Friday night"About the Role:Are you breathing? Do you own a pair of non-slip shoes? Congratulations, you’re hired! We are looking for a highly capable Kitchen Assistant to help us prevent culinary disasters. Your primary mission is to keep the kitchen running smoothly while absorbing the ambient stress of the entire restaurant staff.Key Responsibilities:
- The Dish Slayer: Making dirty plates, pots, and pans magically disappear using nothing but hot water, industrial-grade soap, and sheer willpower. You will be happy to know we do have a dishwashe.
- Professional vegetable chopper: Chopping ingredients at superhuman speeds so the chef doesn't have to.
- Dodger of Flying Objects: Expertly evading flying spatulas, dropped pans, and chefs shouting expletives during the dinner rush.
- Professional Hydration Assistant: Constantly keeping the chef's water glass full, effectively acting as their emotional support human. Who am I kidding we don’t drink water. I live on monster.
- Trash Container Technician: Taking out the garbage and hoping the bag doesn't rip on your shoes. Rule number one, do not put hot rice in bag and expect it not to ripe. I speak from experience, it will, guaranteed.
- Master of All Trades: Changing lightbulbs, moving heavy deliveries, opening jars that the chef couldn't open, and being the person everyone blames when something is missing. FYI something is always missing.
Requirements:
- Ironclad Immune System: The ability to eat stray French fries off the pass without getting sick.
- High Pain Tolerance: Capable of handling scalding dishwater and grabbing hot baking sheets with your bare hands (or just using a towel, preferably).
- Selective Hearing: The ability to listen to specific instructions while ignoring the chaotic screaming match happening in the background. We actually don’t scream we fight like adults using our indoor voices.
- Caffeine Addiction: A mandatory requirement. You must run entirely on coffee, adrenaline, spite and French fries.
What We Offer:
- Free Meals: You will eat like a king, provided you eat it standing up over a trash can in under 3 minutes. Just kidding we have a chair next to said trash can.
