Facilities Manager
Position Type: Full-Time, Exempt
Reports To: Director of Operations
Salary Range: $31 - $35/ hr ( $64,480 - $72,800)

Position Summary
The Facilities Manager supports the operational effectiveness, compliance, and day-to-day functioning of Dream Youth Clinic’s programs, clinics, facilities, and administrative systems. Reporting to senior leadership, the Facilities Manager plays a critical hands-on role in implementing operational policies, supervising non-clinical staff, coordinating operational workflows, supporting facilities management and on-site event coordination and ensuring consistent, high-quality operational delivery across sites and programs.

The Facilities Manager translates organizational strategy into reliable systems and daily practices that allow staff and youth to succeed.
Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesOperational Management
- Manage day-to-day operational functions to ensure smooth, efficient clinic and program operations.
- Implement and maintain operational policies, procedures, and workflows established by leadership.
- Monitor operational systems (scheduling, supplies, facilities, vendors, events, documentation processes) to ensure consistency and efficiency.
- Support budget tracking, purchasing, and resource coordination in alignment with approved budgets.
- Identify operational gaps and recommend process improvements to leadership.
Staff Supervision & Support
- Supervise assigned non-clinical staff, including administrative, program, and operations personnel.
- Support onboarding and training of new staff on operational policies, tools, and workflows.
- Conduct regular check-ins, performance feedback, and evaluations for direct reports.
- Foster a collaborative, accountable, and youth-centered workplace culture.
- Coordinate staffing coverage and schedules to meet operational needs.
Program & Clinic Support
- Work closely with program and clinical teams to support the operations of youth-centered services.
- Lead operational support for Programs, Health Advocate, and Clinical teams including high-level purchasing, youth stipend dissemination management, coordinating facilities/equipment maintenance and care and other operational coordination to ensure seamless and high-level service delivery.
- Collaborate with development and leadership teams as needed to support grants, fiscal, and reporting requirements.
Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Support compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, including healthcare, employment, and youth-serving requirements.
- Assist with internal audits, monitoring, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure operational practices align with organizational policies, licensing, and funder requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and operational documentation.
Community & Cross-Team Coordination
- Serve as an internal liaison between operations, programs, health advocate and clinical teams.
- Support coordination with external vendors, partners, and service providers as assigned.
- Represent operations in internal meetings and cross-functional planning efforts.
Required Qualifications & Competencies
- Bachelor’s degree in public health, healthcare administration, business administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in operations, program management, or healthcare/nonprofit administration.
- Demonstrated experience supervising staff or managing operational functions.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Knowledge of compliance, quality assurance, and operational best practices in youth-serving or healthcare settings.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to implement systems and follow through.
- Commitment to cultural humility, inclusivity, and youth-centered practices.
- Willingness to receive training in reproductive justice, Positive Youth Development, and youth health topics.
- Proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office.
- Valid California Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule as needed.
Physical & Other Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and computer systems.
- Capacity to work in clinic, office, and community-based settings.
