Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Bath and Shower Installer specializing in Tile to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing high-quality tile work in bathrooms, focusing on baths and showers, ensuring durable and visually appealing results. Your expertise will help transform spaces, delivering exceptional craftsmanship that meets client specifications and industry standards. Duties

• Measure, cut, and install tiles for baths, showers, and surrounding areas with precision and attention to detail.
• Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying waterproof membranes or backer boards to ensure proper adhesion.
• Collaborate with project managers, plumbers, electricians, and other trades to coordinate installation processes seamlessly.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and securing tiles and related fixtures.
• Apply caulking, grout, sealants, and finishing touches to ensure a professional appearance and long-lasting results.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately interpret project requirements.
• Maintain a clean work environment by organizing materials and disposing of debris safely throughout the project lifecycle.

Experience

• Proven experience in tile installation within bathroom remodeling or similar construction environments.
• Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, electrical considerations related to bathroom fixtures, and waterproofing techniques.
• Familiarity with construction management practices including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and site inspection procedures.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as trowels, tile cutters, levels, saws, as well as power tools like drills and grinders.
• Experience working with heavy equipment operation or fabrication is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of other related trades such as carpentry (trim carpentry), masonry (concrete finishing), plastering or stucco is advantageous.
• Ability to adapt quickly to different project scopes while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship. Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
