As the first Equipment Manager at Wild Spring Dunes, you’ll be the one to set up the shop, get the fleet ready, and make sure everything is in place to keep the course in top shape from day one. Whether it’s fixing a mower, troubleshooting an engine, or training the team on proper equipment use, you’ll take pride in making sure things are done right and on time. About Wild Spring Dunes

Wild Spring Dunes will be a public golf resort and refuge with world-class golf, accommodations, and homesites. Two courses are routed with plans established for a short course and practice center.

Set on over 2,400 sandy, secluded acres, here you will find dramatic elevation changes that highlight four distinct and diverse ecosystems: towering pines and hardwood forest, open, grassy meadows, rolling hills, and steep ravines carved by spring-fed creeks that crawl through the secluded site. Wild Spring Dunes is an escape, a destination, a place to come together in community – a home for golf and wilderness lovers alike.

• Keep our turf equipment fleet operating at peak performance, ensuring our courses play as beautifully as they were designed.
• Lead a proactive maintenance program—tracking repairs, scheduling service, and staying ahead of potential issues.
• Manage the equipment budget, closely monitor inventory, order parts, and make cost-effective decisions.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized shop—because a well-run operation starts with a well-kept workspace.
• Work closely with the Golf Course Superintendent and grounds crew, training staff on proper equipment operation and maintenance.
• Support course maintenance, construction, and grow-in operations as we continue to shape Wild Spring Dunes into something extraordinary.

• A deep understanding of golf course equipment maintenance, from small engines to heavy machinery.
• Hands-on experience with reel grinding, hydraulic systems, and electrical diagnostics.
• The ability to diagnose and repair turf and landscape equipment quickly and efficiently.
• Welding and metal fabrication skills? Even better.
• A strategic mindset—you can plan, budget, and problem-solve on the fly.
• Strong communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude.
• The physical ability to lift up to 75 lbs, work in various weather conditions, and handle the demands of an active role.
