Job Summary: MUST BE CERTIFIED
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Operator to join our team. As an Operator, you will be responsible for performing various tasks in a distribution center or warehouse environment. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and operating heavy equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Load and unload materials from trucks or containers
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe work environment
- Pick orders accurately and efficiently using a pick list or handheld device
- Maintain inventory accuracy by performing regular cycle counts
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse for optimal efficiency
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
Skills:
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order picking
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain inventory accuracy
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions from supervisors
